The first part of the Scout platoon

(which is actually the Tank hunter platoon).

My first attempt at painting SS camouflage. 

I went with some different combinations, a pea dot pattern in brown colors and a Oakleaf B pattern. As i would suspect the SS of June/July 1944 to be wearing the summer patterns. Would they also be wearing the orange/brown autumn pattern in the summer months?

Not quite sure how happy I'm with the Oakleaf pattern and damn the helmet markings are difficult to paint at this scale. But I really enjoy painting germans with all their small details, which I'm definitly not used to with the G.I.'s.

I'm wondering in Atlantik wall the Scout platoon is shown as 7 schwimmwagens in 3 teams and a command team. How would you do when gaming with these? Have 7 schwimmwagens, 3 MG teams + command team or some third option?

Repainted the two mens ammo pouches in a khaki color instead (top left corner)
