US Ranger Platoon

A little Ranger platoon to add to my US forces. I have based them so they would suit the Brittany option in Overlord. As i thought it would give them a more all round look, than if they were based to fit the beach landings.

I have painted the uniforms in US Dark Green, to make them stand out from the rest of my force. I also painted Ranger markings on the left shoulder and markings on the back of their helmets. The white horizontal or vertical stripe for ranking officers, I also tried to replicate. I was just having problem figuring out, how many NCO, sergeants etc. is in a platoon.

For the first time i tried to model the miniatures, by removing their helmet and making a green putty cap. Not quite satisfied. Maybe you can spot it among some of the minis.

M18 Tank Destroyers

The latest mini's that I've painted is 4 M18 Tank Destroyers, which definitely is my favourite US Tank Destroyer. Really cool looking.

Never tested them out on the gaming table, but just had to own them. Wondering how they will work, with only front armour 2 and side and top armour 0. Maybe the increased movement range makes up for it?

Hope you like them

Really easy to assemble, only the stowage was a bit tricky. But i think i managed to pull it off. Testing out some foliage, made with clusters. I think it came out pretty nice.

Loving the "new" american decals from Battlefront, which definitely gives the minis a extra touch, with weight markings, tank destroyer markings and so on.
